Assisted Living Facilities

These facilities in a community setting are licensed to care for seven or more residents. The services assisted living facilities offer can range from helping remind residents to take medications daily to offering assistance with the activities of daily life, such as bathing and getting dressed, personal hygiene and mobility. However they do not provide high level of care like adult family homes and nursing homes. Assisted living facilities provide a supportive and social environment where residents can live independently while receiving assistance when needed.

Housing:

Residents have their own private bedroom and bathroom.

Personal Care:
Assisted living facilities offer a range of personal care services, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and help with mobility.

Medication Management:

Assisted living facilities has 24/7 professional RNs, LPNs and caregivers that will assist residents with remembering to take medications, or administer them if needed.

Meals:
They provide three meals a day in a communal dining area, and some offer special dietary needs. They also have meals delivery services for residents that want to eat in their rooms at additional cost.

Social and Recreational Activities:
Assisted living communities often have a variety of activities and programs designed to keep residents engaged and active.

Supervision and Security:
24/7 supervision , security & emergency call system. Daily resident safety checks.

Transportation:
Some assisted living facilities provide transportation for residents to medical appointments or errands.
